Inhouse Group Accountant

Inhouse Group Accountant required in Port Elizabeth.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manufacturing concern is seeking an In-house Group Accountant to perform the following:

• Prepare on a monthly basis all taxes and VAT and provisional taxes for 4 companies
• Handle all SARS queries
• Prepare Monthly Management accounts
• Financial Planning and Forecasting
• Oversee Bookkeeper and admin staff
• Invoicing and payments
• Invoicing and payments in foreign currency
• Reconcile of invoices
• Provisioning of monthly costs accruals through a recon of accounts and supplier statement at month end
• Remain up to date with IFRS requirements
• Make necessary provisions in the accounts in line with IFRS
• Ensure necessary internal control systems are in place for process in area of responsibility.
