RequirementsResponsibilities:
Infrastructure management
- Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of our Azure infrastructure.
- Ensure optimal performance, security and scalability of our IT systems.
- Proven experience of migrating from private cloud to Azure (working with an external party).
- Ensure offices have required infrastructure and security needs met.
Service Desk Leadership
- Lead and inspire a talented team of service desk professionals.
- Drive a customer-centric approach to IT support, focusing on prompt issue resolution.
- KPI and issue tracking to look for trends, problem systems and suggestions for improvements for the future.
Azure and M365 expertise
- Leverage your in-depth knowledge to optimise Azure cloud services.
- Work closely with a managed service provider through a migration from private cloud to Azure.
- Manage and enhance our Microsoft 365 environment for maximum efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders (internal and external) translating technical details into user-friendly language.
- Effective communication of changes in infrastructure or services to all relevant parties, ensuring a smooth transition and minimising disruptions.
- Exceptional written communication skills for creating clear and concise technical documentation, including system manuals, troubleshooting guides, and service desk procedures.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure our infrastructure aligns with the latest advancements.
- Conduct risk assessments related to infrastructure and security, implementing preventive measures to mitigate potential threats.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Azure environments and Microsoft 365 deployments.
- Experience with Meraki is desirable.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in infrastructure and security.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a service desk team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management frameworks.
- A commitment to staying current with emerging technologies.
