This opportunity will offer hybrid working options but will need the right individual who is based locally within the Cape Town area as there will be focus on working closely with our growing team.

Job Description

TCNCap and our existing portfolio of businesses are going through an exciting period of growth and as such we are looking to build our operational capability to support this growth with a specific focus on IT, security and compliance.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Operations Lead to help define and implement best practice across a portfolio of fast growing consultancy companies. The IT operations Lead will focus on running all end-to-end IT processes but defining and implementing best practice across a variety of areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong IT grounding, a good understanding of security & compliance and the style to work with founders across multiple businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices
• Support the day to day running of each business from an IT perspective
• Monitor and maintain network and system security
• Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place
• Own laptop procurement, build and maintain process
• Oversee software installations, upgrades, and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to employees
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to support business goals
• Own maintenance of key solutions such as Notion

Requirements
