Key Purpose: The role is to serve as a senior security specialist within Vitality Group's Information Security team, acting as a 2IC to the Security Manager.
Responsibilities include developing security strategies, policies, risk management, assurance, architectural guidance, and providing security consultation to various stakeholders.
The role involves leading security governance, managing Security Operations, overseeing security controls, and addressing cyber threats.
This hands-on position requires strong technical expertise across security technologies.
Additional responsibilities include contributing to security strategy, engaging with leadership, developing policies, assessing risks, training staff, and reporting.
Engagements involve collaboration with COO, CIO, legal, governance, risk, and third parties to ensure security posture and compliance.
Personal Attributes and Skills: Fast learner, proactive, communicative, analytical, flexible, resilient, energetic team player.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Security, or Risk Management; certifications like CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP are advantageous; knowledge of security frameworks, technologies, and development of security strategies.
