Placements24 is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead security operations and strategy in Richards Bay. You will oversee the protection of sensitive data, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage the information security team.

The role requires developing and executing security policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and safeguard assets, with emphasis on ISO 27001, NIST, and strong leadership in a key industrial hub.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in information security with 3+ years in management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks; security best practices.
• Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• CISSP/CISM/PMP certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the information security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and mentor the information security team.
• Oversee incident response, detection, investigation, and remediation.
• Manage security awareness training and culture.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and data privacy.
