Information Security Analyst L2

Our client has an EE opportunity available for an Information Security Analyst based in Selby.

Requirements :

1. 5 years’ experience within either an information security position or in cybersecurity.
2. 2 years IT administration experience.
3. 2 years ethical hacking experience.
4. Knowledge of :

Cloud security platforms, firewalls, malicious code defense, cybersecurity technical assignments, standards, tools, and processes, vulnerability assessment tools, endpoint and network security tools or techniques.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in information security or a similar field.
• Industry certifications.

Responsibilities :

1. Support technology transformation and innovation in your area of responsibility.
2. Support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity road maps and interventions.
3. Create and maintain appropriate standard operating procedures for cybersecurity and information protection.
4. Support analysis and planning activities.
5. Identify, respond, predict, and analyze security breaches and threats to determine their root cause.
6. Research, investigate, and develop proficiencies in current and emerging threats.
7. Participate in technology security planning sessions.
8. Establish plans and protocols to protect digital files and information systems against unauthorized access.
9. Support the design for your area of responsibility.
10. Work closely with stakeholders to design, consult, and implement security solutions to ensure readiness for security technologies.
11. Draft procedures and policies related to cybersecurity.
12. Monitor and analyze cybersecurity operational services.
13. Identify and resolve vulnerabilities in networks, servers, etc.
14. Manage vendor resource deliverables to ensure service consistency.
15. Conduct risk and quality management within your area of responsibility.
16. Drive compliance regarding information security and business continuity planning.
17. Serve as the point of contact between vendors and business units.
18. Conduct technical security reviews and perform risk assessments.
