Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience with infants in a professional childcare setting.
• First Aid and CPR certification for infants is mandatory.
• Ability to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Proficiency in basic record-keeping and communication tools.
• Residency or willingness to commute to Mossel Bay, Western Cape.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care and supervision for infants (0-18 months), ensuring safety at all times.
• Implement age-appropriate activities promoting sensory exploration and early language development.
• Create a warm, nurturing environment meeting individual infant needs.
• Manage daily routines including feeding, diapering, and naps with consistency.
• Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and daily activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on development.

• Collaborate with other educators to ensure cohesive childcare approach.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
