Job description

Mid-Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree. Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients within digital marketing.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the Retail vertical. Experience in building and leveraging relationships with directors and C-Level stakeholders. Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. Experience with performance marketing with full funnel marketing exposure. Experience in building relationships with advertisers, agencies, or clients within the media and advertising sectors in South Africa or across multiple markets.

Working with them, you set the vision and strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users. As part of the core ads sales team, we work with the largest advertisers and retailer partners to help them achieve their business objectives.

We advise our clients on their marketing strategy, consumer behavior, and how to apply Google's broad range of products across DVA, App Promo, YouTube Brand, Search / PMax to help them connect with their customers.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We observe the massive transformation as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms and are uniquely positioned to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video, and mobile to facilitate instant and seamless connection with their audiences.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain customer and media agency relationships at all levels, including C-Suite, serving as a point of contact to deepen relationships, optimize advertising resources, and increase profitable growth.
  2. Develop and present data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals and quantify impact opportunities with clear strategies.
  3. Understand customer business and marketing objectives, KPIs, and challenges, and structure Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to help them achieve their growth goals.
  4. Build cross-functional relationships within Google to deliver innovative advertising solutions.
  5. Develop case studies of successful campaigns to share insights industry-wide and advocate at industry events and conferences.
