A recruitment agency is seeking a Sales Representative to enhance market share in the food industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, managing existing client relations, and ensuring effective installations. A minimum of 2-3 years in sales and marketing is required. This role involves regular client visits and collaboration with internal teams to achieve sales targets.
PURPOSE OF JOB
To maintain and grow market share within the food industry / food factories (industrial) client bases within the designated area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sales & Marketing
Obtain planned rollouts for the year from clients in the region, and target new developments through meetings, visits, and cold calling for marketing and sales purposes.
Hand over customers in other provinces/regions to relevant branch managers and follow up to ensure deals are closed and business is obtained. Oversee this process and monitor progress.
Negotiate pricing with clients within given parameters.
