Placements24 is assisting a client in East London, Eastern Cape to hire an Industrial Process Optimization Engineer. You will analyze and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and productivity while reducing waste.

Responsibilities include applying Lean and Six Sigma, designing solutions, studying workflows, creating performance dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and training staff on new processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in process engineering or operations analysis
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools proficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation
• Familiarity with process simulation software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

About the Role

You will apply advanced industrial engineering techniques to streamline workflows, implement best practices, and contribute to the company's competitive advantage in the market. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for process optimization using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct detailed studies on workflow, material handling, and equipment utilization to enhance performance.
• Develop and implement performance metrics and dashboards to track key operational indicators.

Requirements
