Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter with N2/N3 (or equivalent) trade papers.
• Proven experience in industrial mechanical maintenance and fitting.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and power transmission.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and service mechanical equipment according to specs.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
• Read engineering drawings, manuals and maintenance schedules.
• Operate lathes, milling machines and welding equipment safely.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with standards.
