Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Manufacturing Engineer for a fully remote, globally distributed team. You will drive manufacturing process improvements, implement new production technologies, and optimize efficiency across machining, assembly, and quality control.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering.
• Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment.
• Develop and optimize production layouts and workflows for maximum efficiency and safety.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to remote production teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.

Requirements

• Proven track record in process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma implementation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including machining, assembly, automation, and quality control.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and process simulation tools is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant industry standards.
