Job description

We are on the lookout for a professional who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of flooring systems in industrial environments. An expert in selecting and applying the appropriate flooring materials that can withstand the heavy demands of industrial settings. These environments can include factories, warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, and chemical plants, among others.

Key responsibilities include:

• Selection of the right type of flooring based on the specific needs of the industrial facility. This might include considerations like resistance to chemicals, impact, abrasion, temperature, and moisture.
• Oversee the installation of durable flooring solutions such as epoxy flooring, polyurethane coatings, vinyl, terrazzo, and concrete surfaces. Ensure that the installation is done according to the specific requirements of the industry, ensuring longevity and safety.
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing floors to keep them in optimal condition, which can also include cleaning, resurfacing, or re-coating.
• Ensure the flooring meets safety standards, especially in environments where slip resistance or the ability to withstand heavy loads is crucial. This also involves ensuring the flooring is compliant with local building codes and industry regulations.
• Analyses and identifies the market potentiality, cooperating with the sales force in order to estimate potential sales and activate the appropriate distribution channels.
• Coordinates and, when necessary, manages in coordination with the Technical Assistance Department, the internal and external technical trainings related to the flooring products.
• Provides support in the preparation of technical texts, illustrating technical solutions and product application references.
• Manages situations of claims following the established procedure, visiting the job site together with the sales responsible and promptly informing all the other departments involved in the process.
• Provide technical support for the specifications and sales department, as well as assist in the generation of new and revised specifications as well as technical texts, illustrating technical solutions and product application references.
• Conduct training for external stakeholders such as clients, contractors, applicators, at expos and seminars by doing product demonstrations, as well as train all internal staff on all product line details as required.
• Travel to all outlying regions to provide product support when requested to do so.
