Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Industrial Engineer with a strong background in quality systems to join our client in Mahikeng, North West. You will implement and manage ISO 9001 QMS, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to quality standards across production processes.

Responsibilities include audits, training, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering, production, and procurement to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering focusing on quality assurance and QMS.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001 certified QMS.
• Strong knowledge of SPC and quality tools.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and methodical root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with quality audits and reporting.
• Proficient in data analysis software and tools.
• Excellent communication, training, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing setting (Mahikeng).
• CQE certification is highly advantageous.

Our client, a significant player in the automotive components sector, is seeking an accomplished Industrial Engineer with a strong background in quality systems to join their team in Mahikeng, North West . The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing quality management systems (QMS), driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to industry certifications such as ISO 9001. This is a crucial role for ensuring product excellence and customer satisfaction in a competitive manufacturing landscape. We seek a detail-oriented and quality-focused engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.

• Proven experience in implementing and managing ISO 9001 certified QMS.
• Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
• Experience with quality audit procedures and reporting.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and tools.
• Effective communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment in Mahikeng .
• A certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is highly advantageous.
