Job summary

Triz Engineering Solutions is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on converting designs into efficient production processes for commercial vehicle programs. The role emphasizes production line planning, process modelling, time studies, and continuous improvement to ensure build feasibility and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's/BTech in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in industrial and process engineering, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/ B Tech Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification(s)
• 3+ years of post-graduate in industrial and process engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line dynamics.
• Experience with time studies and production line optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams.
• 3D Modeling Software Experience (would be an advantage)
• Willing to travel overseas for variable periods

Responsibilities

• Transition engineering designs and data into production, ensuring seamless integration and implementation.
• Participate in the engineering release process, ensuring all industrial and process engineering functions are addressed.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to review and approve sub-systems for each product line in terms of build feasibility.
• Develop detailed production line process models detailing how and where subassemblies are installed on the production floor.
• Investigate and resolve issues found on the production line, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct time studies and production line optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to align engineering projects with business objectives.
• Maintain thorough documentation of process models, methodologies, and findings.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency.
