Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in process optimisation, manufacturing, or a similar role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with process simulation software and other industrial engineering tools.
• Afrikaans and English proficiency (speaking and writing).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all operational activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve World Class Manufacturing goals.
• Implement and optimise plant processes to meet production targets and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal customers to address debottlenecking opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Lead time studies, capacity analyses, and root cause analyses to address bottlenecks and improve throughput.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Provide training and support on process improvements and new systems.
