Job description

Industrial Engineer (Graduate) required in Centurion.

My client is a company that operates in the consulting space. Their offices are in Centurion. They are looking for a graduate Industrial Engineer with little/no experience that is prepared to travel and work at different client sites as needed (mainly Europe and America).

Salary: R20,000 – R35,000 per month.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluating client’s existing business processes especially relating to operations but also the integration between finance and operations
• Designing new business processes for a client in order to facilitate a sound control environment, conformance to regulatory requirements and proper business practices as well as accurate and timely reporting (both financial and non-financial)
• Evaluating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to decide on the best fit for a customer in order to obtain results as stipulated in the designed business processes
• Taking part in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning system for the customer
• Supporting customers where new systems have been implemented

Requirements:

• BSc Industrial Engineering degree.
• Knowledge of the following will be an advantage:
  • MS Office (especially Excel but also PowerPoint and Word)
  • ERP
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
• Good communication skills (bilingual ability in Afrikaans and English).
