Job description
Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analysis, or a related field.
- Experience in process design, tender management, and lean implementation.
- Proficiency with supply chain planning tools and optimization models.
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse planning and MHE route optimization.
- Background in the automotive or maintenance, repair, and operations industries is advantageous.
- Excellent project and change management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and quotations.
- Calculate accurate quotations and ensure competitive pricing for new business.
- Design and optimize production and material flow processes.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure continuous improvement through lean methodologies and process enhancements.
- Conduct detailed costing and financial analyses for new and existing business ventures.
- Support decision-making with accurate cost data and profitability evaluations.
- Lead project design, planning, and execution across various departments.
- Manage change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify strategic opportunities and business gaps.
- Develop marketing strategies based on competitor insights and market trends.
- Plan and optimize warehouse layouts and space utilization.
- Calculate material handling equipment (MHE) requirements and design efficient routes.
- Design facilities to optimize material flow and operational efficiency.
- Identify and develop strategic business potentials.
- Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve organizational goals.
- Balance assembly lines and optimize labor efficiency in the automotive industry.
- Conduct capacity studies and implement ergonomic improvements for the workforce.
- Utilize advanced software tools for network and transportation optimization.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance supply chain performance.
- Implement lean principles across processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in various operational areas.
