Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to company rules and regulations as documented in the disciplinary policy.
  • Ensure all data (quality/process/production) collected from teams are accurate and align with standards.
  • Lead 5S implementation and maintenance to eliminate waste and improve workplace efficiency.
  • Develop SOPs and process improvements in line with technical specifications to ensure best practices.
  • Document process improvements and standardizations.
  • Update bills of materials (BOM) and load onto SAP promptly to ensure system accuracy.
  • Compile part lists for production, ensuring correct parts are used according to schedule.
  • Record and update production orders in the Vehicle Database to manage stock efficiently.
  • Conduct time studies to support productivity and reduce waste.
  • Support the development and ordering of parts, including those not received for production.
  • Prepare notifications for model changes and communicate effectively to Aftersales and Dealer network.
  • Update SAP and EMA with new structural modules and support current/historical builds.
  • Update part coding with new parts and create local part numbers for CKD parts.
  • Assist in providing part numbers and specifications for parts fitted during production and support processes.
  • Support calibration and safety of equipment and machines, including backup equipment.
  • Assist with team improvements and handling out-of-standard conditions.
  • Monitor audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Ensure integrity of batch numbers and traceability for issues previously communicated.
  • Maintain tool specifications and prevent unauthorized modifications.
  • Address safety-related problems promptly.
  • Provide feedback on SOPs regularly and ensure teams act on outstanding items.
  • Support WIP status updates and ensure availability of parts and instructions.
  • Update job cards and supporting information during builds.
  • Handle customer complaints, ensuring issues are contained and documented.
  • Track SOP completion per model monthly.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for problems.
  • Report abnormalities or bottlenecks affecting production flow.
  • Manage parts issues and claims for CKD and local parts.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Industrial Engineering Qualification
  • Understanding of Technical/Process Drawings
  • Code 8 Driver's License
