Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to join our client's maintenance team at their Upington facility. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems to ensure safe, compliant and continuous production operations.

The ideal candidate has a trade certificate (NQF 3/4) and proven industrial experience, with strong knowledge of motor controls and PLC troubleshooting. You will work across high- and low-voltage systems, collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a relevant trade certificate (e.g., NQF Level 3/4).
• Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in Northern Cape.

About the Role
