Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Control Panel Builder or similar electrical assembly role.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring practices.
• Ability to read technical docs and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels per schematics and BOM.
• Install PLCs, HMIs, motor starters, circuit breakers, relays, and power supplies in enclosures.
• Ensure wiring meets safety standards and project specs.
• Perform continuity and voltage tests to verify panel functionality.
• Troubleshoot wiring or component issues during builds.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to clarify design requirements.
• Document build processes and any deviations from designs.
• Manage inventory of components and materials for panel builds.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels based on electrical schematics, diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, motor starters, circuit breakers, relays, and power supplies within enclosures.
• Ensure all wiring and connections meet safety standards and project specifications.
• Perform continuity and voltage testing on completed panels to verify functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any wiring or component issues during the build process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to clarify design requirements and address technical challenges.
• Document the build process, including any modifications or deviations from the original design.
• Manage inventory of components and materials needed for panel building.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Industrial Control Panel Builder or in a similar electrical assembly role.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams, and wiring practices.
• Proficiency in assembling and wiring various electrical components and devices.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to electrical panel building (e.g., IEC, UL).
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation effectively.
