Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning or physically demanding cleaning roles.
• Familiar with operation/maintenance of industrial cleaning machinery.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, safe usage, and hazard classifications.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions precisely.
• Excellent physical condition for manual labor including lifting and bending.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of factory floors, common areas, offices, and restrooms.
• Clean and degrease industrial machinery and equipment per maintenance and safety requirements.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, sweepers, and pressure washers.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling programs within the facility in Vereeniging, Gauteng.
• Ensure all chemical substances are handled, stored, and disposed of safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular safety checks of cleaning equipment and report malfunctions or hazards.
• Follow cleaning procedures to prevent contamination and ensure workplace safety.
• Assist with spill cleanup operations and emergency response activities as trained.
