Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Specialist for a Bloemfontein location. The role involves hands-on cleaning in industrial environments, handling hazardous materials, and maintaining a safe, clean work area for staff.

The ideal candidate will have proven industrial cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and the ability to operate a range of cleaning equipment safely. Applicants should be comfortable working in challenging industrial settings and adhering to safety

Qualifications

Proven experience as an industrial cleaner in industrial/manufacturing settings.
Strong understanding of industrial cleaning chemicals and safe application.
Proficient in operating and maintaining cleaning equipment.
Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations related to cleaning.

Responsibilities

Perform specialized cleaning procedures in industrial settings, including machinery and production areas.
Safely handle and dispose of industrial waste and hazardous materials per guidelines.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and vacuums.
Inspect work areas for cleaning needs and hazards; report issues.
Follow safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations.
Respond to spills and emergency cleaning situations as required.
