Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct and safe use of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials, adhering to all safety data sheets (SDS) and environmental regulations.
• Manage team performance, provide ongoing training, and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Respond to emergencies and unplanned cleaning requirements, coordinating immediate and effective action.
• Liaise with plant managers and other stakeholders to coordinate cleaning activities and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports on cleaning activities, safety incidents, and team performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial cleaning or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience working in demanding industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing, chemical plants, mining, ports).
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals, including hazardous materials handling.
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in an industrial context.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
