About the Role

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing and industrial processes, is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Technician to join their cutting-edge facility in Randburg . This role is critical for maintaining and optimizing the automated systems that drive production efficiency and quality. You will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC systems, robotics, HMI interfaces, and other automation technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and robotic systems.
• Service and repair automated machinery, including sensors, actuators, and control panels.
• Work with Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to monitor and control industrial processes.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation for automation systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and new automation solutions.
• Ensure all automated systems operate safely and efficiently, adhering to strict safety protocols and production schedules.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Automation Technician or similar role.
