Placements24 in East London is seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Technician to join our client’s advanced manufacturing support team. You will install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain automated systems, robotics, and control systems to keep production running smoothly.

You will develop PLC programs and HMI interfaces, diagnose complex issues, and work with engineering on upgrades across East London sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as Industrial Automation Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI development and robotics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals; travel to East London sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Industrial Automation Technician , Controls Engineer, or similar role.

• Experience with industrial networking protocols and diagnostic tools.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different industrial sites in the East London area.
