Job description

Our client is looking for self-driven, energetic medical device agents looking to add an exciting state-of-the-art product range to their existing product portfolio.

You will add to your existing basket of products a range of Laparoscopic Trocars & Hand Instruments Stapling Devices as well as our clients Energy range of products. You will be selling an extensive and high-quality range of brand-leading products. Established relationships with General Surgeons and Gynecologists would be an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth targets within the region in Private Hospitals.
  • Follow up on sales leads and address customer queries.
  • Ensure that orders received are placed immediately.
  • Ensure invoicing and delivery is commissioned as per client procedures.
  • Develop positive relationships with end users and customers, building a firm foundation for ongoing business.
  • Offer professional and technical advice to solve customer technology/medical device requirements and offer solutions promoting the brand.
  • Provide in-service training creating lasting and correct usage of the medical devices used.
  • Obtain approval for access through the relevant channels within the hospital groups/clinical facility prior to engagement with customers/users/support personnel.
  • Attend workshops/congresses when taking place in the designated area.
  • Assist with coordination of administrative/logistics arrangements when required.
  • Establish and maintain an up-to-date database of customer information.
  • Actively work to close gaps & drive sales growth through optimizing sales resources by customer/product opportunity.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in sales within the medical device sector with a track record in theatre-based selling.
  • Knowledge of the medical device industry and Private Hospitals is essential.
  • Knowledge of theatre practice environment relevant procedures, reimbursement/funding issues.
  • Theatre-Based Sales Experience is essential.
  • Professional and effective communicator and salesperson with the ability to present effectively to a variety of audiences.
  • Agile at building and utilizing strong relationships and networks effectively both internally and with key external stakeholders earning their trust and respect.
  • Able to manage complexity and work with multiple personnel.
  • Clear communicator and someone who helps to find solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
