We work towards excellence every day, and our team members are committed to delivering the very best outcomes for the people we support. Our dynamic and flexible service is tailored to the specific needs of the individual, making it easier to live, learn, and be part of a world adapting to change.

The Role

Location: Ferndene Forest Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne NE12 9NQ

We are looking to appoint a new team of Independent Living Support Workers. This is an exciting opportunity to help build our ISL Provision and provide excellent support.

Ferndene comprises 9 self-contained bungalows with staff facilities, gardens, and parking. The residents require assistance throughout the day to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.

Our Independent Supported Living schemes are homes for individuals with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities who need support with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, organizing social activities, attending health appointments, and living as independently as possible.

You will need to be enthusiastic, positive, and genuinely motivated to help people achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

We seek a great team player who is flexible, organized, and skilled in working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care for the people we support. The ability to adapt and respond to evolving situations with a person-centred approach is essential for this independent living scheme.

We welcome all applications and would love to hear from you. Please click here for the detailed job description.
