Job summary

PwC Careers Africa in Johannesburg seeks a Manager in the Southern Africa Independence Team to promote integrity-based decision making and conduct. You will support the PRI Team in promoting and monitoring compliance with external independence laws and PwC policies across the firm.

You'll train business units, respond to queries, monitor controls, and participate in global initiatives while expanding your expertise in a dynamic regulatory environment. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• CA (SA) qualification required.
• Up to 20% travel.
• Experience in financial services or audit is an asset.
• Strong data analysis and attention to detail.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Independence support systems and activities.
• Collaborate with SDC teams on Independence processes.
• Respond to independence queries from partners and staff.
• Deliver training to business units when required.
• Monitor compliance with Independence policies and controls.
• Perform compliance testing over client engagement teams.
• Contribute to innovation of Independence processes and PwC Global initiatives.
• Participate in ad hoc Independence projects.
