Position: Inbound Manager
Job Description: Responsible for managing the Inbound schedule; liaising with the Replenishment department; interacting with the Client Admin department on outstanding issues; ensuring process compliance as per SOP.

Minimum Requirements:
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end Inbound process
- Liaison with the Replenishment department
- Interaction with the Client Admin department on outstanding issues
- Ensure process compliance as per SOP
- Build relationships with Suppliers
- Minimize damages in the DC
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years receiving experience in the DC environment
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and receiving processes
- Grade 12 / Equivalent NQF4 Qualification
- BCom Logistics/Supply Chain Degree (advantageous)
- Computer literate (MS Office)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Client Replenishment team
- Agree on inbound schedule weekly
- Maximize promotional inbound schedules
- Plan seasonal and month-end promotions
- Interact with Client Replenishment regarding product details
- Manage TES supervisors and ensure schedule adherence
- Responsible for put-away into PND stations
- Liaise with Client Admin on receipt issues
- Manage Supplier returns as per process
- Ensure accurate GRV processing
- Highlight risks related to products
- Liaise with Quality Manager on standards
- Adhere to SOPs from a risk perspective
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly reports
- Plan next day delivery schedule
- Manage inbound yard operations
- Ensure timely processing of documentation
- Check new product listings
- Plan staffing for inbound containers
- Manage productivity targets
- Report on non-arrivals and unscheduled deliveries
- Assist in problem-solving and decision-making
- Communicate clearly and listen attentively
- Develop and maintain work standards
- Process returns, chargebacks, damages
- Coordinate with Finance and Customer Service
- Manage staff training and development
- Plan for succession
- Manage leave and headcounts
- Ensure PPE and SHEQ compliance
- Conduct performance reviews and development plans
