  • Create and compile complex itineraries from A to Z.
  • Ensure timely confirmation, invoicing, and booking processes.

Inbound Group Travel Coordinator – Woodstock, Cape Town.

Do you have minimum 5 years’ experience as a successful Group Travel Consultant, arranging itineraries with various numbers for group events?

Our well-established client requires your expertise to join their creative and hardworking team at their office in Observatory. Essential to have experience in inbound travel for Africa.

Excellent event coordination, planning and deadline orientated skills is a MUST to create and customise travel experiences, advising on South Africa’s best travel options. We require your expertise in designing itineraries, advising, and upselling of the best quality that there is on offer.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • A Qualification in Tourism
  • 5 years’ experience in a Senior Inbound Consultant position
  • High attention to detail
  • Being able to work extended hours during peak season
  • Exceptional Multitasking ability
  • Good communication skills
  • Working under pressure and a team player
  • Minimum five years’ experience in travel and South African travel leisure market

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Detailed travel plans for group clients travelling to Southern Africa.
  • Ensure you are delivering the best quality package for the group as per their budget and needs.
  • Event coordination to fit in with group requirements
  • Create and compile complex itineraries arranging everything with all details from A – Z
  • Oversee accommodation details per group
  • Keep to the deadlines
  • Effective liaison with all parties up to finalisation
  • Follow up on quotations building relationships further
  • Ensure confirmation, invoice and booking process is all done timeously.
  • Extensive liaison on incoming questions as per group tour
  • Make sure all cancellation policies are in place
  • Negotiation on rates and checking in with Management
  • Be available for after hour questions enquiries for group bookings
