Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced In-House Legal Advisor to join our team. This role is crucial in providing expert legal counsel and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, particularly in the hotel and casino industry across multiple jurisdictions in the region. Experience in the hotel and/or casino sector is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Provide timely and accurate legal advice to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues affecting regional companies.
  2. Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements and legal documents to protect the company's interests.
  3. Assist and advise on compliance matters, with a specific focus on casino legislation and regulations.
  4. Implement and oversee data protection policies and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Undertake company secretarial responsibilities, including maintaining corporate records and ensuring adherence to corporate governance practices.
Qualifications :
  1. Degree in Law and qualification to practice as an attorney.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience as a legal advisor or in-house counsel, preferably within the hotel and/or casino industry.
  3. Strong understanding of data protection laws.
  4. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
