Placements24 is seeking a warm, reliable nanny/childminder to care for two young children (ages 3 and 5) in a family home in Tembisa, Gauteng. The role focuses on safety, development, and nurturing daily routines within a supportive family environment.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, patient, and capable of creating engaging, age-appropriate activities while maintaining strong communication with the parents.

Qualifications

• Experience as a nanny/childminder with verifiable references.
• Demonstrated understanding of child development for toddlers/preschoolers.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children aged 3 and 5 in a home setting.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks based on dietary guidelines.
• Assist with daily routines and maintain cleanliness of play areas and bedrooms.
• Transport children to school or activities as needed.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding daily activities and progress.
• Ensure safety and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Foster a positive, stimulating environment supporting learning and social development.
