Currently, we are looking for an Implementation Manager, Extended Workforce Solutions who will lead the end-to-end setup and rollout of Extended Workforce Solutions (EWS) program for the client in South Africa, translating contracted scope into fully operational service delivery, with compliance and process design as a core connected workstream.
This role will act as the primary point of contact for implementation planning and program setup, ensuring intake, prioritization, and coordination of all onboarding and workforce needs are managed effectively. The role will carry a strong client relationship and delivery orientation. The Implementation Manager will work closely with Executive leadership to ensure consistent delivery quality, compliance adherence, and continuous improvement.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Client Relationship & Implementation Ownership
- Act as the primary client relationship owner during implementation, building trusted, long-term partnerships.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Extended Workforce Solutions scope, partnering with sales/commercial teams where relevant in potential clients’ discussions.
- Represent the program in client-facing discussions, ensuring client needs, expectations, and satisfaction are consistently met.
- Bring strong Extended Workforce Solutions industry experience, with a procurement background a plus, to advise clients on best practices, delivery models, and solutioning.
Implementation Planning & Execution
- Own end-to-end implementation execution for new Extended Workforce Solutions program ensuring consistent delivery quality and go-live readiness.
- Own intake, prioritization, and coordination of all onboarding and workforce implementation needs across teams and functions.
- Partner with Managers and Team Leads to align execution with program priorities and standards.
Contract & Compliance Management
- Coordinate with legal, procurement, and compliance partners to resolve contract and statutory issues and reduce implementation cycle times.
Performance Monitoring & Governance
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and implementation performance across teams and programs.
- Ensure governance is applied consistently across onboarding, contracting, and additional workflows.
- Lead preparation of weekly and monthly governance materials for stakeholder reviews.
- Lead the Monthly Implementation & Delivery Review, covering go-live metrics, volume trends, continuous improvement initiatives, and key risks and action plans.
- Manage implementation escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Act as the escalation point for implementation updates, request follow-ups, and day-to-day issues, supported by Managers.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks early and drive mitigation actions in coordination with Managers and Team Leads.
Program Support & Strategic Alignment
- Support leadership in financial governance, forecasting, and commercial alignment activities during implementation.
- Contribute operational insights and reporting to support Executive Business Reviews.
- Help ensure ongoing strategic alignment between implementation activities and overall program objectives.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Support Managers in KPI tracking and performance management within their respective benches (e.g., EWS Delivery, Compliance, Consulting).
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on client and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate with peers and client stakeholders to support effective resourcing and program governance.
Experience & Skills
- Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Supply Chain/Procurement, or a related field
- Proven, hands-on experience with Extended Workforce Solutions, Employer of Record (EOR), staffing, or contingent workforce services is required; a background in procurement or sourcing is a strong advantage
- Proven track record managing multi-stakeholder implementations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment,
- Strong client relationship management skills, with comfort operating in client-facing and onboarding capacities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
- Strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Solid technical proficiency (e.g., advanced MS Excel/Office skills; familiarity with HRIS or workforce management systems is a plus)
