Are you a dynamic, detail-oriented systems professional with a passion for insurance technology?

This role is central to ensuring the successful deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of our core insurance platforms.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize insurance products, workflows, and processes using IDIT setup wizards.
• Manage system roles, privileges, and organizational hierarchies.
• Create, update, and maintain document templates, payment plans, GL codes, dunning steps, loss events, and claims settings.
• Define and maintain system rules, parameters, and reference data.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to implement solutions that align with business requirements.
• Conduct unit testing, manage promotions, and support the release process from development through SIT.
• Analyse setup-related defects and provide timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or an Insurance-related field or Information Systems degree
• 3–6 years’ experience in insurance technology implementation or system integration
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Sapiens, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Tial or similar.
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, XML/JSON & Microsoft
• Strong knowledge of short-term insurance products (motor, property, liability, commercial).
• Familiarity with FSCA, POPIA, and insurance compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Contract Duration: 12 months
