Hybrid Payroll Implementation and Consulting Specialist
Reference : NCM-KMa-1
Hybrid role - Based in Johannesburg

Company with software design and implementation requires the services of a skilled payroll implementation and consulting specialist.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Implementing the software at clients' premises
  2. Performing needs analysis and payroll setup to meet all statutory requirements (Tax, UIF, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, etc.) for RSA and Africa Clients (Angola, Nigeria, Swaziland) including the Middle East
  3. Consultations at clients involving problem-solving, providing advice on best practices, and supporting clients with payroll processes
  4. Assisting clients with Tax Year Ends and Mid-year Tax Year Recon involving E@syfile and SARS E-filing
  5. Invoicing clients
  6. Compilation of consulting reports
  7. Managing own schedule and meeting monthly targets based on consulting, training, and support hours
  8. On-site training at client's premises
  9. Providing telephone support to clients
  10. Logging calls on the Call Logging System (CRM)
  11. Presenting Training Courses
  12. Staying up to date with all statutory changes
  13. Establishing a network with SAGE Payroll users
  14. Supporting upgrades and legal patches
  15. Handling ongoing client queries
  16. Testing reported problems / queries for clients
  17. Maintaining Human Resource procedures across the coastal region of South Africa, including administering various HR plans, developing policies, and maintaining employee records.
  18. Assisting in benefits administration, recruitment efforts, and evaluating department reports against established goals.
  19. Ensuring a clear audit trail for transactions, maintaining personnel files, and processing payrolls for financial year-end.

Required Minimum Education / Training

  1. Matric plus 5+ years relevant experience
  2. Degree / Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification in IT and / or Payroll Diploma
  3. Certifications relating to the payroll industry will be advantageous

Required Minimum Work Experience

  1. Relevant experience in Service, Consulting, and Implementation
  2. In-depth understanding of the customer services model and business environment
  3. In-depth knowledge of PeopleWare and Payroll
  4. At least 3 years' experience in Payroll and advanced Excel
  5. Good understanding of PeopleWare services in various industries
