Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting nine Work Psychologists to join the DWP Work Psychology Service, helping jobseekers move into employment with evidence-based occupational psychology tools.

You will design and deliver one-to-one and group interventions, support colleagues through caseload management, and promote the service across the organisation. The role includes progressing HCPC registration and collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Psychology.
• Pursuing HCPC Registered Occupational Psychologist status.
• Experience delivering interventions to jobseekers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver one-to-one interventions to assess employment related support needs.
• Develop and facilitate work-focused group interventions.
• Facilitate case conferences with frontline colleagues to progress cases.
• Provide caseload management support for jobseekers and colleagues.
• Design interventions to increase colleagues' knowledge on job-related topics.
• Promote the Work Psychology service across the organisation.
• Use the consultancy cycle to evaluate outcomes of interventions for senior leaders.
• Balance CPD with frontline business priorities.
• Support qualification towards HCPC Registered Occupational Psychologist status.
