Job summary

Momentum in Durban seeks a Retail Business Consultant to cultivate impactful partnerships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs). You will promote Momentum Myriad, Investo, Health & Investments, delivering marketing messages and supporting sales targets while building enduring relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in financial services, a 3-year BCom, and willingness to advance their studies. Knowledge of Momentum products is a plus and the role requires on-site engagement with IFAs

Qualifications

3-year BCom degree as listed or equivalent
Willingness to study towards the degree if 3+ years in IFA industry
CFA/CFP® is advantageous
3–5 years in financial services; 1–3 years related sales experience
Knowledge of Momentum Myriad and Investo is beneficial

Responsibilities

Be visible to the IFA and understand their needs to drive value proposition across Myriad, Investo, Health & Investments
Visit the IFA and IFA office and deliver marketing messages on products
Analyse and monitor prescribed weekly activities to exceed sales targets
Record meeting minutes and respond to requests promptly
Build long-lasting relationships with IFAs and move them toward active advocacy
