Momentum in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a Retail Business Consultant to forge strong partnerships with IFAs, driving value across Myriad, Investo, Health & Investments. The role emphasizes ease of doing business, first-class service, and continual improvement of client outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in financial services, a 3-year BCom, and willingness to advance toward a degree. CFA/CFP credentials are a plus and momentum products familiarity is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 3-year BCom degree in Financial Planning, Investment or Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Education and Legal.
• Willingness to study towards the degree and recognition of prior learning if you have 3+ years of experience in the IFA industry.
• CFA and/or CFP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be visible to the IFA, understand needs, and drive value propositions across Myriad, Investo, Health & Investments.
• Visit IFAs and offices to deliver marketing messages about products.
• Analyse and increase prescribed weekly activities to exceed sales targets.
• Record meeting minutes and follow up on requests promptly.
