Job summary

Clinix Botshelong-Empilweni Private Hospital in Vosloorus is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Adult ICU to deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with Doctors and a multidisciplinary team. You will supervise allocated staff and ensure adherence to unit standards and CPD requirements.

The role emphasizes SANC compliance, DOH audits, and the development of individualized care plans with physicians. ACLS certification and ICU experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in General Nursing required.
• Trained Qualification: Critical care.
• Current Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• ACLS qualification mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties in accordance with SANC, DOH and National Core standards.
• Adhere to patient advocacy principles and charter.
• Supervise and lead the nursing team in the unit.
• Participate in internal and external audits (DOH, National Core Standards, SHERQ, SANC, Risk).
• Document and maintain patient medication files; conduct ward rounds with doctors.
• Monitor nurse activities to ensure compliance with policies and safety.
