Job description

Job Title : ICT Manager (Pretoria) – 6-month contract

Key Performance Areas :

  • Lead alignment of ICT strategy with business goals to maximize IT investments.
  • Manage the ICT budget, ensuring spend remains within agreed tolerances.
  • Act as the primary liaison between ICT and business needs, ensuring the ICT strategy supports business objectives.
  • Motivate and guide the ICT team, delivering innovative solutions that drive business efficiency.
  • Oversee successful delivery of all ICT services, both internal and external.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for service issues, ensuring proactive resolution.
  • Chair SLA meetings and ensure ICT readiness for business change initiatives.
  • Ensure day-to-day technical solutions meet organizational goals and operational objectives.
  • Manage infrastructure, desktop security, Unified Communications, and mobile data.
  • Lead ICT security, vulnerability assessments, and maintain up-to-date auditing documentation.
  • Administer remote user security, ensuring robust service for all users.
  • Oversee ICT infrastructure and architecture, implementing best practice service management standards.
  • Manage infrastructure improvements, project planning, and risk assessment.
  • Ensure budget alignment and provide statistical helpdesk data.
  • Establish partnerships with key stakeholders and collaborate on strategic projects.
  • Represent the ICT function in the company’s strategic transformation plans.

  • National Certificate (Matric Grade 12)

  • Prince 2 Project Management Certification
