IT Business Development Manager - Yealink

We are looking for a highly ambitious Business Development Manager to manage assigned reseller accounts, ensuring the growth and development of the relevant brand sales and its offerings according to set targets.

The role involves assisting partners with business opportunities, lead generation, marketing initiatives, and understanding relevant programs and routes to maximize partners' market reach.

One of a few qualified and highly specialized distributors of top international Broadband, Wireless, Networking, and VoIP brands, continually expanding product offerings with a strong reputation and proven track record in the ICT industry, trusted by leading ISPs and network operators across Southern Africa.

Responsibilities
  • Manage sales and brand performance
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Expand active partner base and sales across all SADC countries
  • Review business strategy and rebate investments monthly
  • Develop a healthy sales pipeline across all brands
  • Implement key sales and marketing strategies in SAD
  • Engage in quarterly and annual marketing planning sessions with relevant brands and partners
  • Execute quarterly promotional and program planning
  • Develop and manage account plans, measuring performance and success
  • Actively monitor collections across partner base, ensuring full payment
  • Manage partner queries related to sales, technical, or finance issues
  • Drive revenue through targeted brand partners and resellers
  • Develop and review partner development plans
  • Recruit and onboard new partners, managing operational processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with brand team members
  • Report opportunities and deal progress regularly using CRM
  • Ensure sales targets are achieved, reporting deviations
  • Maintain activity reports and minutes of meetings
  • Follow up on quotes and operations responses
  • Manage SLA with brand operations
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in IT beneficial
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • 5+ years experience in Business Development or Account Management
  • Own vehicle with valid driver’s license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative, solution-oriented, and highly organized
  • Knowledge of Yealink products, vendor structures, and the ICT industry in South Africa
  • Ability to meet service-level agreements and work under pressure
  • Experience selling networking products is beneficial
Package & Remuneration
