IT Business Development Manager - Yealink

We are looking for a highly ambitious Business Development Manager to manage assigned reseller accounts ensuring the growth and development of the relevant brand sales and its offerings according to the target(s) set.

In addition to assisting partners with business opportunities, lead generation, marketing initiatives and understanding of the relevant programs and routes to maximize partners' reach to the market share.

The Company: One of a few qualified and highly specialized distributors of the top international Broadband, Wireless, Networking and VoIP brands, continually expanding on product offerings with a strong reputation and proven track record in the ICT industry, trusted by leading ISPs and network operators across Southern Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Manage the sales and Brand performance function
  2. Meet and exceed revenue targets
  3. Ongoing expansion of Active Partner base
  4. Sales across all countries in SADC
  5. Continuously review monthly the business strategy and the investment of the rebate earned through it
  6. Develop a healthy pipeline across all brands
  7. Implement key sales & marketing strategies throughout SADC
  8. Engage with the brand in Quarterly and Annual Marketing Planning sessions with Relevant brands and (non-relevant brand Targeted Partners)
  9. Execute quarterly Promo and Program planning sessions
  10. Develop an Account Plan that documents the key sales & marketing strategies and a management system that measures performance and success with a focus list
  11. Actively monitor collection across your partner base
  12. Taking ownership and accountability for all partner queries, whether sales, technical, or finance related
  13. Manage the Sales of the Brand performance for relevant product set and relevant base
  14. Drive revenue targets through a targeted set of relevant brand partners, resellers
  15. Drive Relevant brand Strategy and portfolio within existing and as per the Focus list
  16. Display key competencies of knowledge regarding relevant brand programs and relevant portfolio of products
  17. Quarterly Business Review Session with Relevant brand
  18. Drive targeted partner development planning and reviews as per the focus list
  19. Drive Relevant brand Product Strategy and overview sessions with Business Partners
  20. Existing and New (brand-specific) partner recruitment and Development
  21. On-boarding process regarding Operational process within focus list
  22. Build and manage effective relationships with relevant brand team members
  23. Ensure the satisfactory execution of the aligned business plan in conjunction with the Strategic business partners Execs and Brand Managers
  24. Report opportunity details to Relevant brands on a regular basis (weekly) showing deal progression and pipeline creation using the Customer Relationship Management system
  25. Ensure that sales targets are achieved and report any deviations with detailed explanations
  26. Ensure weekly activities and minutes of meetings are reported to the Brand Manager
  27. Ensure productivity reports are submitted to the Brand Manager
  28. Load CRM
  29. Follow up on quotes
  30. Follow up on operations responses
  31. Manage SLA with brand operations
Desired Experience & Qualification
  1. Completed Diploma / Certificate in IT – beneficial
  2. Strong Microsoft Excel – Advanced Level – essential
  3. Accpac CRM knowledge – highly beneficial
  4. Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint)
  5. 5+ years experience in a Business Development or Account Management role
  6. Own vehicle with a valid driver's license
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  8. Creative and solution driven
  9. Open to working in an Agile environment where changes are frequent and technologies evolve
  10. Highly organized
  11. Focused and performance driven
  12. Knowledge of relevant Yealink products and processes
  13. Knowledge of Vendor structure to have the correct point of contact
  14. Knowledge of the information management industry in South Africa
  15. Knowledge of ICT industry
  16. Ability to deliver on service-level agreements
  17. Remains calm under pressure
  18. Previous experience selling Networking products / solutions beneficial
  19. Proven history of achievement in New Business Development
  20. Creative, solution-driven attitude
Package & Remuneration

The Position: We're looking for an ICT Business Development Manager to be based permanently in Centurion.

The pay range on offer is a basic salary between R30,000 to R40,000 CtC Per Month.

This is not a remote working position and standard working hours from the office in Centurion will apply.
