A technology solutions provider in Gauteng is seeking a specialist to resolve errors in non-production environments for IBM TWS and DWC. The ideal candidate must be certified and have at least 3 years of comprehensive support experience for these systems, including DB2 databases. Responsibilities include resolving errors, restoring systems, and ensuring all environments are operable.

Qualifications

• Certified to work on IBM TWS and DWC with proof from OEM.
• Proven experience in IBM TWS and DWC support services for 3 years.
• Expert capability in providing support for DB2 databases.

Responsibilities

• Resolve errors in non-production environments.
• Restore Symphony file and start required DB2 and IWS applications.
• Ensure workstations are available for all environments.
• Provide knowledge transfer about issue resolution.

Job Description

Resolve the errors experience in the IWS non-production environments. Activities to be completed are :

• Resolve the errors
• Restore Symphony file and start DB2, IWS, DWC on sivrs219.
• Start DB2(DHWADB & DDWCDB), IWS & DWC on sivrs220
• Start DB2 (TWS_DB & DWC_DB), IWS & DWC on sivrs221.
• Synchronise and ensure that all workstations are available for all these environments.
• Do knowledge transfer on how the issue was resolved to enable internal teams to resolve similar issue should it occur.
• Service provider to provide details on how the issue was resolved to the technical team.
• Work completion certificate and confirmation of operable environment by the Functional and technical team

Requirements

1. certified to work on IBM TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler) and IBM Dynamic Workload Console (DWC) system? The service provider to provide proof / letter / certificate from OEM supporting this.
2. have the proven capability and experience to deliver comprehensive support services for IBM TWS and IBM Dynamic Workload Console (DWC) over the past three years?
3. certified as IBM Certified Deployment Professionals – Workload Automation, ensuring the capability to deliver expert-level support for IBM Workload Scheduler
4. proven capability and experience to deliver comprehensive support services for DB2 databases in the past three years
