Placements24 seeks a Retail Visual Merchandiser for our Sandton store on a hybrid model. You will design displays and store layouts that attract customers and elevate the brand image.

Ideal candidate has proven visual merchandising experience, strong color theory and spatial design sense, and the ability to translate brand aesthetics into in-store experiences. Weekend availability and travel to Sandton may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser in retail.
• Strong creative flair and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of color theory and spatial design.
• Ability to translate brand aesthetics into in-store displays.
• Hybrid role requiring collaboration and flexibility including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement visual merchandising displays for store windows, product areas, and promotional zones.
• Ensure displays follow brand guidelines and merchandising plans, both on-site and potentially coordinating remote setup elements.
• Collaborate with the store management team to create store layouts that optimize traffic flow and product visibility.
• Keep abreast of current fashion and retail trends to ensure displays are contemporary and appealing.
• Manage and maintain visual merchandising props, fixtures, and materials.
• Train and guide store staff on basic visual merchandising principles to maintain display standards between formal setups.
