Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative Visual Merchandiser to elevate in-store presentation for its Port Elizabeth retail locations. You will translate brand concepts into compelling visual stories, design engaging displays, and work closely with store teams to drive customer engagement.

You will study trends, color theory, and space planning, train staff on visual standards, and support seasonal campaigns and product launches.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar creative retail role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative display design and execution.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into compelling visual presentations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with store teams.
• Passion for fashion, retail, and creating inspiring customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging visual merchandising displays across the store, including window displays and in-store layouts.
• Ensure all visual merchandising standards are met, maintaining brand consistency and aesthetic appeal.
• Collaborate with store managers and staff to execute seasonal campaigns and product launches.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate visual needs to the merchandising team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform display strategies.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices.
