Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. The role focuses on bridging business needs with technology solutions, driving initiatives and process improvements across departments in a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in business analysis, strong BPM understanding, and experience with Jira/Confluence. You will work with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure successful project delivery within a dynamic consultancy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record in management consultancy.
Strong understanding of BPM and various analysis methodologies.
Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and diagramming software.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose innovative solutions.
Gather, document, and manage business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including process flows, use cases, and data models.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and technical capabilities.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to key stakeholders on deliverables and timelines.
