Job summary

QE Services IT Recruitment is assisting a Cape Town–based client to hire a SAP Development and Integration Manager. Lead a SAP development and integration team, driving ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, and API-based connectivity across SAP S/4HANA, ECC HCM, SuccessFactors and SAP BTP in a hybrid environment.

You will align IT strategy with the SAP CoE, manage performance and capacity, mentor staff and ensure secure, scalable delivery of changes, releases and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
• 7+ years in SAP development and integration with ABAP and modern SAP tech.
• Experience with S/4HANA and SAP BTP in hybrid environments.
• Hands-on with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, OData, REST, and SAP Fiori/UI5.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP development and integration team.
• Set objectives aligned with IT strategy and SAP CoE goals.
• Oversee SAP S/4HANA, ECC HCM, SuccessFactors and BTP platforms.
• Drive modernisation of code and integration with clean-core.
• Govern release, change, and security procedures.
• Mentor team and manage BAU, projects, and debt.
