Managed People Solutions is seeking a result-driven, energetic, and dedicated Hybrid Sales Consultant in Johannesburg, Gauteng, who is passionate about the liquor industry and looking for an exciting sales role.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage customer communication effectively by recording and promptly acting upon complaints, queries, and requests.
- Build relationships with customers by identifying new growth opportunities in the liquor category, such as in-store tastings.
- Follow PRIMO call procedures before, during, and after calls.
- Achieve sales targets by executing sales levers in accordance with quarterly KPIs set by management.
- Handle order taking and processing via handheld technology and email.
- Carry out cycle briefs, trade marketing activities, and other operational requirements as directed by the National Operations Manager, aligned with channel segmentation.
- Manage stock effectively, including expired stock (FIFO), stock on hand issues, and stock allocation for trade marketing activities.
- Implement product changes and drive new product listings and introductions as per management directives.
- Conduct trade visits as per business requirements.
- Call customers according to the call cycle, aiming for a 90% hit rate.
- Assist in opening new customer accounts and ensure brand availability and RSP implementation.
- Collect and manage customer contact information and segmentation data.
- Report operational feedback and submit required reports and documents.
- Manage company assets responsibly, including vehicle, laptop, and handheld devices, following SOPs.
- Optimize travel and resource usage within company standards.
- Maintain industry knowledge and professional development, including renewing memberships and certifications.
- Adhere to dress code, code of conduct, and company policies, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Address team conflicts to promote a healthy work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or Food and Beverage Management (NQF level 6).
- 2–5 years of sales and merchandising experience in an FMCG environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
