Job Title: Hybrid Sales Consultant | Managed People Solutions | Johannesburg | Gauteng

Job Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg | Deadline: August 03, 2025

Managed People Solutions is seeking a result-driven, energetic, and dedicated Hybrid Sales Consultant in Johannesburg, Gauteng, who is passionate about the liquor industry and looking for an exciting sales role.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Manage customer communication effectively by recording and promptly acting upon complaints, queries, and requests.
  2. Build relationships with customers by identifying new growth opportunities in the liquor category, such as in-store tastings.
  3. Follow PRIMO call procedures before, during, and after calls.
  4. Achieve sales targets by executing sales levers in accordance with quarterly KPIs set by management.
  5. Handle order taking and processing via handheld technology and email.
  6. Carry out cycle briefs, trade marketing activities, and other operational requirements as directed by the National Operations Manager, aligned with channel segmentation.
  7. Manage stock effectively, including expired stock (FIFO), stock on hand issues, and stock allocation for trade marketing activities.
  8. Implement product changes and drive new product listings and introductions as per management directives.
  9. Conduct trade visits as per business requirements.
  10. Call customers according to the call cycle, aiming for a 90% hit rate.
  11. Assist in opening new customer accounts and ensure brand availability and RSP implementation.
  12. Collect and manage customer contact information and segmentation data.
  13. Report operational feedback and submit required reports and documents.
  14. Manage company assets responsibly, including vehicle, laptop, and handheld devices, following SOPs.
  15. Optimize travel and resource usage within company standards.
  16. Maintain industry knowledge and professional development, including renewing memberships and certifications.
  17. Adhere to dress code, code of conduct, and company policies, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  18. Address team conflicts to promote a healthy work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or Food and Beverage Management (NQF level 6).
  2. 2–5 years of sales and merchandising experience in an FMCG environment.
  3. Valid driver’s license.
