The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing environment, assist with daily routines, and engage the child in learning activities while maintaining safety and well-being.

Formación

• Experience in childcare or as a nanny.
• Knowledge of early childhood development.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both in-person and remotely.
• Background check and references required.
• Familiarity with East London childcare landscape.
• Right to work in South Africa.

Responsabilidades

• Provide attentive and safe childcare during scheduled hours.
• Engage the child in age-appropriate educational games, activities, and reading.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, and personal hygiene.
• Plan and prepare healthy snacks and light meals.
• Ensure the child's living and play areas are clean and organized.
• Monitor and support the child's developmental milestones.
• Communicate regularly with parents about the child's day and progress.
• Participate in remote planning sessions for educational activities and curriculum.
• Assist with any tasks that can be managed remotely, as agreed with the family.
• Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.
